Compared with the other two routes

Outsourced production
$500–$1,600 per video, 1–2 weeks
Filming it yourself
5–6 hours per video including captions
This route
≈20 minutes + $0.72

Outsourcing uses common market quotes; filming time assumes an 8-minute finished video including scripting and editing.

Cost questions

Where does the 352-credit figure come from?

It is the published reference for a 10-page video: AI script (1 credit/page), voiceover (1 credit per 10 characters) and scene animation / vision (1 credit/page). The calculator uses ≈35 credits per page; covers and title packs are billed separately.

Why is bilingual more expensive?

Bilingual means writing the script twice and generating the voice twice, so the calculator estimates 1.8×. If you only need English voice over Chinese slides, regenerate just the voice and the cost drops well below 1.8×.

Do credits expire?

No. Credits never expire; purchases go through Apple in-app purchase and refunds are reversed per Apple's rules. First-purchase bonus credits are not clawed back.

Why does the app show a different number?

The calculator is an estimate. The app quotes before generating, freezes the credits, and pauses with a top-up sheet if the balance is short — then resumes from the breakpoint without double-charging.
