1. Service Description
SlideTalk (PPT讲解员, "the App") is an application for Apple platforms (macOS, iOS and iPadOS) developed and operated by an independent developer. The App helps users turn PPT/PDF presentations into publish-ready videos for B站, YouTube, 视频号 and other platforms, including automatic narration scripts, AI voiceover, subtitles and scene animations, video rendering, and cover/title/tag generation.
The App keeps project data inside its sandbox container on your device, and video rendering runs on your local device; when you use AI features, the page content needed is forwarded through the App's own AI gateway to model providers for immediate generation, and the gateway stores no user content. AI generation is metered with consumable credits purchased through Apple In-App Purchase; the App neither requires nor allows users to configure any third-party API key.
2. User Rights & Obligations
2.1 Lawful Use
- Use the App in compliance with applicable PRC laws and the laws of your jurisdiction
- Do not use the App to create or distribute unlawful content
- Do not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App's source code
- Do not use the App to infringe the lawful rights of others
2.2 Content Responsibility
- You are solely responsible for the PPT/PDF content you import and for AI-generated scripts, videos, and other content
- You must ensure you have the legal right to use the content you import
- When publishing to any platform, follow that platform's community guidelines and copyright policy
- The App makes no warranty as to the legality or accuracy of user-generated content
2.3 Accounts & Security
- No registration is required: the App uses Apple's AppTransaction to create an anonymous identity that third parties cannot tie to you
- The anonymous account is bound to a credit wallet; top-ups go through Apple In-App Purchase and refunds are reversed per Apple's rules
- Safeguard your Apple ID — losses of credits caused by a compromised Apple ID are borne by you
3. Intellectual Property
3.1 Software Rights
The software code, UI design, icons, brand marks and other intellectual property of the App belong to the App's developer, all rights reserved. What you obtain through the App Store is a personal licence to use the App — not ownership, and not any licence to its source code.
3.2 User-Generated Content
Videos, scripts, subtitles, covers and other content you create with the App belong to you. The App claims no rights over user-generated content.
3.3 Third-Party Components
The App uses no third-party SPM dependencies; every feature is implemented in-house on top of Apple's own frameworks (SwiftUI, SwiftData, AVFoundation, PDFKit, Vision and others).
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Pricing Model
- The App is free to download; importing, editing, voice preview, rendering and export (480p–4K, any length) are permanently free
- Only AI generation is metered with consumable credits (narration, voiceover, covers, titles/descriptions/tags), bought through Apple In-App Purchase: ¥6 / ¥28 / ¥68 / ¥198 packs
- 600 welcome credits arrive on sign-up; the first purchase doubles your credits and any amount permanently removes the export watermark
- Credits never expire; when the balance runs low generation pauses and resumes after top-up with no double charging
- Devices on the same Apple ID share one credit wallet
4.2 Refund Policy
Credit top-ups are processed through the Apple App Store. Refunds must be requested from Apple under Apple's refund policy; the App's developer cannot process App Store refunds directly. Refunds are reversed against the balance automatically (a balance may go negative and the next top-up settles it first), and a used first-purchase bonus is not reclaimed.
4.3 AI Service Costs
AI generation spends the credits you purchased, and credit pricing already covers model-call costs — the App settles with its providers itself and never charges you a second time.
5. Disclaimer
5.1 AI-Generated Content
- AI-generated scripts, titles, covers and other content are for reference only; no warranty of accuracy, completeness or fitness is given
- PPTX layout is approximated; gradients, charts, SmartArt and native PowerPoint animations are not supported, so check the result yourself after importing
- Review AI-generated content yourself before publishing
- Any loss or dispute arising from AI-generated content is borne by you
5.2 Third-Party Services
- The App calls model providers such as Volcengine through its own gateway; it is not liable for features becoming unavailable due to interruption, change or repricing of third-party services (credits are consumable and cannot be cashed out)
- When publishing on B站, YouTube or similar platforms, follow each platform's terms of service
- The App is not liable for the availability of third-party platforms
5.3 Service Availability
- The App is provided 'as is', without guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free service
- To the extent permitted by law, the App is not liable for indirect losses arising from its use
- The App is not liable for service interruptions caused by maintenance, force majeure or similar reasons
6. Service Changes & Termination
- The App reserves the right to update or modify features at any time; material changes will be announced via in-app notification or the official website
- Credits you have purchased never expire; even if future versions stop updating, you can keep using the version you have installed and spend your remaining credits
- If you violate these terms, the App may terminate service to you
7. Dispute Resolution
- The signing, performance and interpretation of these terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China
- Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms will first be resolved through friendly negotiation
- If negotiation fails, either party may bring a lawsuit in a competent court where the App's operator is located
8. Terms Updates
The App may modify these terms as needed. The revised terms will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be announced via in-app notification.
