How to make videos without editing skills — the zero-editing pipeline for knowledge creators

2026-10-16 · 6 min read

"Making videos = learning to edit" is a misunderstanding. Editing software solves 'stitch scattered footage into a film' — but educational video material can be structured from the start. Like a PPT.

Once the material is structured, the stitching step can be skipped entirely. Here's how the zero-editing pipeline runs.

The three stages of a zero-editing pipeline

Set up: drop the PPT into SlideTalk, pick the target platform and an AI voice, say in one line how to tell it. About 2 minutes.

Create: the AI drafts a per-page script (editable page by page), then voiceover, scene animations and subtitles happen automatically, and the film renders. About 10 minutes.

Publish: the publish center generates covers, title candidates, descriptions, tags and chapter timestamps; export the kit and upload. About 5 minutes.

The fundamental difference from editing software

CapCut and Premiere are 'here are tools, assemble it yourself' — however simple the tools get, the person assembling is still you, and that's where 5–6 hours per video go. An AI pipeline 'delivers the finished film' — your time goes only to the two things that matter: content (editing the script) and judgment (approving the publish kit).

Editing software isn't useless — if your footage is shot on a camera, it's irreplaceable. But if your content is knowledge and your material is a deck, an editor is simply the wrong tool.

What you still control

Automation isn't surrender. The script is editable page by page; there are 16 English voices; six kinds of scene animation; five subtitle styles. The AI does the repetitive work — taste and content stay with you.

Cost

Import, editing, rendering and export (including 4K and segmented export) are free forever. AI generation runs about 352 credits (≈ $0.58) per 10-page video. You get 600 welcome credits — run the pipeline first, then decide.
